🧰 Step-by-Step Guide
1. Choose a Reputable Exchange
Create an account and complete the necessary identity verification steps.
2. Purchase Cryptocurrency
Navigate to the "Buy" section of the exchange.
Select the cryptocurrency you wish to purchase (e.g., ETH, SOL).
Enter the amount you want to buy and choose your payment method (bank transfer, debit/credit card).
Review the transaction details, including any fees, and confirm the purchase.
3. Set Up a Self-Custody Wallet
Download and install a self-custody wallet compatible with your chosen cryptocurrency:
MetaMask for Ethereum-based tokens
Phantom for Solana
Trust Wallet for multiple blockchains
Xverse for Bitcoin Ordinals
Create a new wallet and securely back up your seed phrase.
4. Transfer Crypto to Your Wallet
In your wallet, locate and copy your public wallet address.
Return to the exchange and navigate to the "Withdraw" or "Send" section.
Select the cryptocurrency to transfer and paste your wallet address as the recipient.
Enter the amount to transfer, review the details, and confirm the transaction.
Note: Always double-check the wallet address and ensure you're selecting the correct network to avoid loss of funds.
