"..Beneath the grandeur's mask, a tale of heartache lies,
Forgotten amidst the glitter where dreams and hopes demise.
For in this world of excess, where wealth and fortune gleam,
Lies under the echoes of neglect, a silent, solemn scream." 

In this this composition, I explore the delicate balance between beauty and turmoil. I wanted to create a juxtaposition of elegance and chaos which is almost palpable. The princess and her golden ball embodies grace and refinement, while the frog and raw digital brushstrokes disrupt, displaying the clashing of elegance with the unexpected intrusion of chaos. 

This work is a a 1/1 unique, and hand signed, edition. An elegant fusion of abstraction, figurative, and landscape. AI concepted, collaged and digitally painted on tablet, in photoshop. It combines my traditional painting and digital abstracts as /blend reference, and compositing them with my ai figurative portraits, while fusing from 18th century french baroque inspiration and my own artistic stylization, with subtle glitchy ai infused texture and flaws that impersonate light reflecting on old cracking paint.

A lone traveler passes in the distance on the path surrounded by fluttering snowflakes, walking aimlessly in this frozen winter landscape. The trees dominate him, the wind rages. He walks until his disappearance, taking a passage towards another era, another time, exuberant, colorful, made of grace and violence.

In a room where light does dance and play,
A creature of elegance holds the chaos at bay.
With fur as soft as the silken thread,
And a gown that trails where the courtiers tread.

Her gaze is fixed, a noble stare,
Upon a world both rich and rare.
She wears a crown not made for men,
In a tale that’s spun from a baroque pen.

The chandeliers, with crystals clear,
Cast shadows that to her appear.
Like figures from a masquerade,
Where light and dark are both arrayed.

Her pose is grace, her spirit keen,
In this curious in-between.
Where time itself has seemed to pause,
In her presence, one mustn't gloss.

For here she stands, both bold and grand,
A whimsical ruler of a sunlit land.
With elegance she does compose,
A silent sonnet, free of prose.

Chaos sleeps in every corner, unseen,
Beneath the tranquil, regal sheen.
Yet in her eyes, a spark does flicker,
A hint of mirth, that's even quicker.

In this hall of time’s own making,
Her courtly pose is not for taking.

Chaos and Elegance in a Baroque Theme

It only makes sense that, when the machines take over the world, they will adopt the art and sensibilities of the Baroque style established by humans – realism accompanied by the sense of human insignificance confronted in the 17th century.

The chaos of machine domination over humanity will be underscored by the machines’ desire (yes, they will desire) to highlight the most energetic and grandiose genre of human art – where splendor of the divine takes on new meaning as the machines ascend, and the lines between art and digitization blur. Artificial intelligence will wrap itself in a cloak of beauty, always striving to match what only Nature can devise…the search for excellence, and elegance, will be ongoing.

Can the machines achieve the perfection they so avidly seek? Is Nature the true measure of success?

A lecture space now left behind.
Of grandeur once, now fading away,
Decay and whispers of a bygone day.
Windows cracked in soft morning light,
A crestfallen beauty, an explorer’s delight.

My work from this period has been described as baroque-horror-orgy-core. And this piece lives up to that description. I've become obsessed with the number 33 lately.
